Our web site Welcome Greeting is the second audio addition to the podcast.  I learned from several great podcasts, whom I’ll give credit to in the first episode, that it is a smart idea to make your Promo the first enclosure to your RSS feed.  Some aggregators have a preview podcast feature, which by default, will grab the oldest enclosure in your feed.  If your Promo is the first episode, then it will be the oldest and in theory the audio file that is played.

I have always felt, in my professional opinion, that and audio Welcome Greeting will help make a web site sticky.  I mean think about it.  A good web site will have some where a place that offers first time visitors an over view, or FAQ, on how to use, navigate, and interact with the web site.  So why not offer that in audio as well?  Duh!

So the first two audio episodes are designed to promote and educate new listeners to myPodMentor.com.  Hopefully this will create more excitement about the myPodMentor Podcast, and increase our subscribers.  So the first official Topic Episode is next, and is titled Why a Podcast about Mentoring?  I’m very excited about publishing this episode.  Stay tuned… it’s coming soon.
